Caution: Only use SOFT balls (wiffle and tennis balls) during live hitting practice with the SwingRite Home Run Hitter…do NOT use hard balls.
Finally! A training aid that focuses on the most important aspects of the swing: tempo, swing speed, and hand release! The SwingRite Home Run Hitter was modeled after the golf training aid known as the Original SwingRite. The Original SwingRite was invented in 1960 and has sold over 1 million units. YES, 1960…that would be 48 years and still going strong. If that isn’t a testimonial in itself, what is? After noticing that everyone who tried the Original SwingRite always ended up swinging it like a bat, we developed the SwingRite Home Run Hitter. The golf swing and the baseball swing are very similar swings and the aspects of what make a good, powerful swing are the same.
Like the SwingRite Golf Swing Trainer, which has been available for more than 40 years, the new Home Run Hitter batting swing trainer uses the same technology to help all baseball and softball players, from T-ball through little league and high school and into college, to greatly improve their timing and hand to eye to ball coordination, and to increase their swing speed, hitting distance and overall power.

This training product is a must for all coaches who want their ball players to play at a higher level and be more competitive. The primary objective of the SwingRite Home Run Hitter is to teach the batter to stay inside the ball, which in turn will make one have a quicker swing with better mechanics.
The SwingRite Home Run Hitter helps the batter to learn the correct techniques to developing a good swing. Staying inside the ball will make the batter quicker, which in turn will allow one a longer time to see the pitch before swinging, and then to swing with more power.
Remember that repetition is primary to learning; therefore, any increase in the repetition will be to the advantage of the batter.

The SwingRite Home Run Hitter should “CLICK” at the correct impact position!
Achieve Maximum Power and Distance when your bat is released with proper timing in the hit zone. Batters using the SwingRite Home Run Hitter can perfect the timing of their release because the release mechanism “CLICKS” when your hands release at your maximum bat speed (which should be slightly in front of home plate).
Measure Power as You Improve, with adjustment levels from the 9 starting point to the 1 maximum (Professional) power point, the caliper settings of the Home Run hitter can be easily adjusted as your strength and swing speed improve.
Practice Anywhere! Home, office, garage, basement, baseball or softball warm-up area, off-season, pre-season, indoors or out!
Available in Varying Weights and Lengths for Players of Any Age, Size, or Ability: Men, women, youths, right or left-handed players, beginners or pros, T-ball, little league, high school, and college teams.
Make this your best baseball or softball season ever. Use the SwingRite Home Run Hitter to help you improve your swing and your hitting ability.
Easy to Use! It’s a real, quality-made, name-brand hardwood bat that you hold just like your own bat. The SwingRite Home Run Hitter can be swung indoors, or out. It’s ideal for when there is no time to get out on the field or when the weather is bad. Since it can be used anywhere, at any moment, it provides a quick and easy way to reinforce muscle memory, a necessary aspect of improving and perfecting your swing. And as any sports players knows, the only real way to improve at a sport is to understand the basic principles of that sport and work on them continuously.
Wrist hinge, also called “lag” is very important in the baseball swing. Your wrist joints are among some of the fastest in your body. Hinge your wrists on the backswing, then unhinge them at the correct spot on the follow through, and your bat speed will explode. It’s all about timing. Try to get the fastest part of the follow through to occur at the impact position. If you release the bat too early or too late, you are robbing yourself of speed.
This is exactly what the SwingRite Home Run Hitter does! It gets you to unhinge those wrists at the correct point in the swing, creating correct release and excellent bat speed which results in maximum distance.
Increase your bat speed!
The distance a baseball travels depends on two primary factors: the angle at which the ball leaves the bat, and how fast the ball is hit. The speed of the ball depends on two things: the speed of the pitch and the speed of the bat. If the bat is standing still and the ball hits it, the ball will bounce off the bat with most, but not all, of the pitch speed. (Some of the energy is wasted in the friction of deforming the ball, making a sound, etc.) If the ball is standing still and is hit by the bat, it’s given a good portion of the bat’s speed. Combine the two and you can see that a pitched ball hitting a swinging bat gains a good portion of the sum of both the pitch and the bat speed. The SwingRite Home Run Hitter can’t pitch a ball to you, but it can help you increase your bat swing speed, thus allowing you to hit the ball farther.
Instructions for Use:
INSTRUCTIONS for USE
- Always begin your practice session on the easy setting.
- Set up as you normally would with your bat using the SwingRite HRH.
Now take your normal swing…did it click? Where did it click?
…if the SwingRite HRH is swung properly, it will click in the “hitting zone” or wherever your desired impact position is. If it doesn’t click at all, you might have to turn the power knob to “Less Power” until you can make it click.
- Practice until your SwingRite HRH clicks at your desired impact position every time you swing from the easy setting up to the maximum power setting. Remember…each and every swing you make, your SwingRite HRH must click at the EXACT same impact position. Have someone help you with where the clicking happens until you can determine where the clicking is happening yourself.
- To increase difficulty and bat speed simply turn the power knob towards “MORE POWER” ¼ turn at a time.
PLEASE READ BEFORE USING YOUR SWINGRITE HRH
The SwingRite HRH makes it possible to practice your swing in a confined space without actually striking a ball. It enables full concentration to be focused upon technique without the distraction of making contact with a ball. Once the muscle memory has been ingrained, you can introduce a whiffle ball to get the feel of actually making contact.
Players and coaches love using the SwingRite HRH because it times the swing and gives the batter instant, positive feedback. Most amateur players lose power by “throwing away” power before they get to the hitting area.
The SwingRite HRH helps develop muscle memory into the swing so the batter releases their power at the perfect, most effective spot in the swing!
